At the heart of our Creative Community Hub is a belief that everyone deserves the chance to explore, express, and connect through creativity.

Whether someone is stepping into a workshop for the very first time or returning to deepen their skills, our welcoming spaces are designed to nurture confidence, encourage collaboration, and celebrate every voice.

Through inspiring projects, shared stories, and creative discovery, we bring people together, strengthen our community, and help individuals see new possibilities for themselves and their future.

LANDSCAPE WITH CHIMNEYS

Landscape with Chimneys is a 12-week creative project that brought people together to explore memory, place and storytelling through photography, film and shared conversation.

The project created a safe, welcoming space where participants connected, collaborated and supported one another. The group — made up of people of different ages, backgrounds and experience — worked together to share stories, ideas and reflections inspired by the landscape around them. Through dialogue, images and moving footage, familiar characters and moments began to emerge, shaped by shared histories, humour and imagination.

What developed was more than a collection of work — it was a growing sense of community and creative confidence.

Together We Create Fund – LOWRY25

This special event brought together 11 community organisations to celebrate the project, creating a vibrant and inspiring space to share, connect, and collaborate across our local community.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our Creative Community Hub Creative Writing Group to showcase the writing and performance skills they developed over a 12-week programme. Through powerful words and confident performances, participants shared their voices, stories, and creativity with a wider audience — highlighting not only what they had learned, but also the strength and talent within our community.

The event was a true celebration of creativity, connection, and the incredible work being achieved when people come together.
